Singer’s version of Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” is absolutely wonderful

She began singing mostly country music, she eventually crossed over to pop music. She is known as one of the first country music artists to have boldly made the jump.

Several of Patsy’s songs have reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country and Western Sides charts. A few of them are, “I’ve Loved and Lost Again,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” and of course, “Crazy.”

Patsy had a unique voice

Her distinctive voice set Patsy easily apart from other vocalists. She had a unique country twang and a smoothness that made everyone immediately fall in love. A lot of people have tried to recreate her hits, but very few have succeeded.

So much like Patsy

Patsy’s version of the song was sad and melancholic. Casi sings, “Crazy, I’m crazy for feeling so lonely, I’m crazy, crazy for feeling so blue,” and you could feel it in your soul. That’s a true gift that only a talented artist can achieve.

She continues

“I knew you’d love me as long as you wanted. And then someday you’d leave me for somebody new.” It is remarkable how Casi invokes raw emotion. “I’m crazy for trying, and crazy for crying, and I’m crazy for loving you.”
